On October 17th, see some of Roanoke's best amateur boxers from Champ's Gym face talented competitors from across the region at the Berglund Center. This action-packed afternoon of amateur boxing continues the Return of the MAC tradition while bringing families, athletes, businesses, and the community together in support of our youth. Return of the MAC has grown into an annual community fundraising event, using the discipline and excitement of amateur boxing to raise support for youth programs and strengthen the fight against gun violence in our community. Founded in 1972, Champ's Gym is a division of Melrose Athletic Club, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to giving A Fighting Chance for Our Youth.
