Need a break from the doomscrolling? Acclaimed "Resistance Swing" band, Lizzy & the Triggermen, offer the perfect musical antidote for these crazy times. Like the songs of Prohibition Era, their music transforms our troubles into joyous dance songs that recharge the spirit the way only a wailing horn section can.  What you will not hear: "In the Mood." What you will hear is swinging tunes about everything from gaslighting exes to tech bro's to Lizzy's internet shopping addiction.  The group (which has charted in multiple countries, including #3 on the iTunes Jazz Charts in the U.S., and has accumulated millions of views on their social media) features some of the top musicians in jazz with arrangements by Dan Barrett (played with Benny Goodman) and songwriting by Lizzy Shaps (whose biting wit garnered 2 Emmy nominations).  Come early for a pre-show swing dance lesson taught by Scott Kaufman from Midtown Stomp. 7:30 PM - Doors 7:45-8:15 PM - Swing Dance Lesson 8:30-10 PM - Lizzy & The Triggermen Set times are approximate
